Dr. Art Laffer estimates that income per person in America would increase if the tax code were less complex.

If we simplify by 50%   Income would rise by up to $3,300 per person in the tenth year alone.

If we simplify by 90%   Income would rise by up to $6,000 per person in the tenth year alone.

Dr. Laffer will testify at an April 20 JEC hearing on the benefits of simplifying, along with Scott Hodge of the Tax Foundation and a small business owner who suffers under complexity every day.
