Today’s report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that the U.S. economy added 138,000 nonfarm payroll jobs in May and the unemployment rate is 4.3 percent. The labor force participation rate is 62.7 percent and the employment-to-population ratio is 60.0 percent.
