oday’s report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates that the U.S. economy added 222,000 nonfarm payroll jobs in June and the unemployment rate is 4.4 percent. The labor force participation rate is 62.8 percent. Job gains have averaged 194,000 per month since April.
