WASHINGTON, DC—Chairman Pat Tiberi (R-Ohio) today announced that the Joint Economic Committee will hold a hearing on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in room 2020 of the Rayburn House Office Building. Witnesses will address the reasons for the record-setting number of job vacancies in the United States and how American workers could be matched better to the available job opportunities. Increased workforce participation and productivity are critical for accelerating economic growth and improving opportunities for American families.
