Maloney, held a hearing on the Economic Outlook in the United States with Christina Romer, Chair of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers on Thursday, April 30th at 10:00 a.m. in room 210 of the Cannon House Office Building.  Romer evaluated the longer term macroeconomic outlook and provided insight into how the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), the financial stabilization plan, and housing reforms are likely to foster economic recovery and promote job creation.
