January Jobs Report in Eight Charts

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the employment situation for January 2016 on Friday, February, 5, 2016.  The economy added 158,000 private-sector jobs in January and the unemployment rate declined from 5.0 percent to 4.9 percent.  See the press release for additional information.
