Maloney, Chair of the Joint Economic Committee, held a hearing on the newly released employment figures for April from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).  The hearing entitled, “The Employment Situation: April 2010” took place on Friday, May 7, 2010, at 9:30 a.m., in room 106 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.  BLS Commissioner Keith Hall testified to recent developments in the labor market and answer questions on national employment trends.
