Hawaii added 1,900 net payroll jobs, or 0.3 percent, on a seasonally adjusted basis during December. In the prior month, Hawaii added 1,300 jobs. The labor force participation rate in Hawaii rose to 60.1 percent in December from 60 percent in the prior month.
